About book: The Son of Sobekby Rick Riordan The Son of Sobek is an interesting story written by Rick Riordan, to combine the Percy Jackson series and the Kane C(K?)hronicles series. In the story, Carter Kane is searching to kill a crocodile monster, the monster being a son of Sobek (Egyptian god of crocodiles). Carter fights the monster, only to get swallowed the monster. Afterwards, Percy Jackson comes along and frees Carter from the crocodile, but Carter and Percy have a fight because they don't know Percy is Greek and Carter is Egyptian. Finally, they team up and kill the crocodile monster, because it was scaring the locals. I think this is a very interesting book. I have never read any stories like this one, because stories never had the two different mythology connections. Even the Heroes of Olympus series wasn't that interesting, because the Greeks and Romans are still very similar. Also, I liked how the book has lots of action and suspense. For example, I liked how I didn't know what would happen to Carter after he got eaten. I recommend reading this book if you are a teen, because kids might not like the violence involved. Also, if you like magic, magicians, gods, Greek or Egyptian mythology, this book is for you. If you love the Fantasy genre, this book is also for you. I hope you choose to read this book, as it is an interesting and fun book to read. I know absolutely nothing about Egyptian gods except maybe the fact that they come from Egypt and that they were still the same Greek/Roman gods renamed because of Egyptian influence. So anyway, this story was such a fun read. I loved how Percy and Carter met and how confused they were about the other's vocabulary, and abilities. Like I said, I don't know much about the Egyptian gods and I haven't read the Kane Chronicles (although I am planning to soon) this story kind of introduced me to the topic. So yes. I really loved it and I hope you guys read it soon.

I read the Kane Chronicles already and I'm so looking forward to this book. October I'll read the review when I'm done with Son of Sobek :. What I don't get is that it said that there was going to be a preview for the house of hades in the son of sobek. I had the paper book and the online copy and couldn't find it does that mean that the preview was IN the son of sobek and the HOH is going to be a crossover or am I just missing something? Another thing also bothers me according to the birthyears of Carter and Percy, Percy would be 3 years older than Carter so when they meet in the Son of Sobek which for Carter is after the Serpent's Shadow, Carter would be 15 so add 3 years and Percy would be 18??? And, in respect to your other question, the only thing I can say is, it's a book.
